the only difference between FOA's and similiar other shock company's is in the machining of the ACME thread in the housing. Other than that its all the same. Same viton race seals, same plungers, same everything. FOA has been very upfront that they had some quality control issues with some assemblers putting the shocks together.. Indiana doc
